Katriina Isberg was born in the vibrant city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a rich Estonian cultural heritage, and is fluent in both English and Estonian. Her parents, Valve Leemet Isberg and Ulo Isberg, and her sister, Aleksandra Isberg, have all played a significant role in her life.
Growing up, Katriina had a deep-seated passion for acting, but was initially discouraged by others who deemed it an "unrealistic dream". However, she kept her aspirations close to her heart, attending both Claude Watson School For The Arts and Earl Haig Secondary School in the Claude Watson Arts program, where she majored in dance. Throughout her academic years, Katriina was actively involved in various extracurricular activities, including participating in numerous choirs, art shows, school plays, and even modeling.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Katriina was an accomplished athlete, representing Team Canada for Group Aesthetic Rhythmic Gymnastics at Kalev Estienne from 2003 to 2008, competing globally and honing her skills.
After completing her high school education, Katriina attended The University of Western Ontario, where she initially left her passion for the performing arts behind. However, it wasn't until she left university after just one year that she realized the depth of her passion for acting. She spent the subsequent year in London, Ontario, working and reflecting on her future, before finally deciding to pursue her childhood dreams and embark on an acting career.
Upon moving back to Toronto in 2010, Katriina began taking acting classes and workshops at various studios, and signed with a top Toronto agency in 2011, marking the beginning of her professional acting career.
