Katrina Kemp, a Los Angeles native, has been involved in theater, dance, and choir since childhood. Her paternal side of the family, rooted in the Bahamas, influenced her pursuit of a vaudevillian career. In 2009, she made her professional debut as Chucky the Killer Doll at Universal Studios Hollywood, followed by creature suit characters in low-budget horror films and commercials.
Katrina's big break came when she starred in the circus, "Cirque Berzerk," and appeared in music videos (Rihanna) and television shows (Marvel's Spider-Man, RuPaul's Drag Race, Man Seeking Woman, Faking It, The Eric Andre Show, American Horror Story, David Spade's Fameless).
In 2013, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in TV Production from Cal State University Northridge. She then toured with Miley Cyrus on the "Bangerz" International Tour in 2014. After working in television and concert events, Katrina landed a notable role as "Fleck" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Love Never Dies," a First National Tour that premiered in 2017.
Katrina is the only Little Person Acrobat-Singer to complete 410 shows of a Broadway production in 41 major cities across North America in just 18 months. She recently appeared in a 5-episode arc on the Netflix series, "GLOW," as a feisty wrestler named "Candy," performing her own wrestling stunts.
Katrina is a voice and advocate for Dwarfism and Disability inclusion in the media industry, seeking projects that amplify those stories. She is the first actor with Dwarfism to voice a Little Person animated character in the Marvel Universe, as Anna Maria Marconi, on Disney XD's "Marvel's Spider-Man."
When not touring or recovering from stunt jobs, Katrina uses her TV Production degree to work as a Reality TV show Transcriptionist and on-set Live Logger, collaborating with companies like 495 Productions, Fox Entertainment, Disney, Bravo Networks, and World of Wonder's, RuPaul's Drag Race.
Katrina is a member of the AGVA union, SAG-AFTRA, Actor's Equity Union, and the Motion Picture Editor's Guild, solidifying her presence in the industry. Whether performing, typing, or traveling, Katrina brings her outlook on life and shares the Dwarfism Awareness movement with any project medium she's working on.
