Keith Farrell is a highly acclaimed and accomplished director, having been nominated for the prestigious IFTA award a total of four times, although he has yet to take home the trophy. Despite this, he remains optimistic and unjaded, his passion for his craft evident in the numerous awards he has received for his work.
Farrell's career began with the creation of documentary dramas for various television networks, including RTÉ and PBS, where he produced thought-provoking and engaging programs such as Ireland's Nazis, Death on the Railroad, Assassins, The Lost Ship, Clear the Way, and many more. His expertise in documentary filmmaking has earned him recognition and accolades from the industry.
In addition to his television work, Farrell has also produced two feature documentaries that have received cinematic releases. His 2016 film, A Terrible Beauty..., won the IFTA award for Best Cinematography, while his 2019 film, Death or Liberty, took home the Spotlight Documentary Prize at the Atlanta Film Festival.
