As his fascination with the film industry grew, Kenneth's sights were set on pursuing higher education at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, where he would be surrounded by like-minded individuals who shared his passion and enthusiasm for the art of filmmaking.
It was during his time at George Fox University that Kenneth drew inspiration from the rapidly evolving landscape of the cable television industry, specifically the emerging channel MTV, which was revolutionizing the way music was consumed and presented to the masses.
In response to this creative spark, Kenneth decided to take the leap and create a music video for the "new wave" band The Receivers, in which he played the role of bassist, a project that would not only allow him to express his artistic side but also serve as a valuable learning experience, as he navigated the technical aspects of video production and honed his skills as a filmmaker.
Kenneth's enthusiasm for the film industry continued to grow in magnitude as he successfully obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a concentrated emphasis on television production. Following the culmination of his undergraduate studies, he embarked on a two-year odyssey to teach English in Japan, an experience that significantly expanded his global perspective and granted him a prestigious "black belt" in the ancient art of Kendo.
Upon his triumphant return to Portland, Kenneth secured his initial position within the realm of corporate video production, where he demonstrated an impressive versatility by assuming a multitude of responsibilities, encompassing camera operation, editing, sound editing, and casting, thus showcasing his remarkable adaptability and range.
Kenneth embarked on a significant life transition in 2004, leaving behind his young family to relocate to the state of Virginia, a decision that would ultimately pave the way for a new chapter in his academic and professional pursuits. His destination was Regent University, a renowned institution where he enrolled in a Master's degree program focused on Producing for Cinema-Television.
After completing his academic pursuits at Regent, Kenneth dedicated himself to honing his skills in the realm of freelance production, engaging in a wide variety of projects across multiple mediums, including corporate video, television, and independent film.
Kenneth's professional journey began in the year 2012, when he embarked on a new venture by joining Cine'Foundry Entertainment as a Producer, marking the inception of a remarkable career trajectory. As he navigated the intricacies of the film industry, he steadily ascended the ranks, accumulating valuable experience and expertise along the way. By 2016, his hard work and dedication had earned him the esteemed position of Managing Producer, a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and unwavering commitment to his craft.
