During his time in the Navy, Kevin was stationed in San Diego, where he gained invaluable life experience, developed a strong sense of discipline, and cultivated a work ethic that would serve him exceptionally well in the years to come.

Kevin's personal life has been marked by a series of marriages, with the number totalling four, and a remarkable dedication to his son, Christopher Hagen, whom he raised as a single parent for over two decades. Christopher, a Special Education teacher and high school baseball coach, currently residing in Bakersfield, California, has not only followed in his father's footsteps on the athletic field, but has also emulated his father's dedication to his students and community through his work as a teacher.
