Kristen Lee Gutoskie is a talented SAG-nominated actor, born in the vibrant city of Toronto, Ontario, to loving parents Linda, a dedicated nurse, and Bob, a skilled technical sales manager. Growing up in the charming suburb of Markham, she received unwavering support from her parents and older sister Shauna, which encouraged her to participate in school theatre productions, take singing and piano lessons, and explore her creative side.
As a teenager, Kristen discovered her passion for dance and traveled the country with her hip hop team. She also honed her improv skills by taking classes on weekends at Toronto's renowned The Second City. Her academic pursuits led her to graduate with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she also had the opportunity to study as an exchange student at ACU in Australia. During her time abroad, she had the privilege of performing in a production of the Australian play "Cosi" by Louis Nowra.
In her free time, Kristen is dedicated to giving back to her community by mentoring youth through Good City Mentors and using her musical talents to bring joy to children through Art of Elysium.
Kristen's impressive acting career has seen her take on roles in various TV shows and films, including E4's "Beaver Falls", CW's "Containment" and "The Vampire Diaries", and the musical film "The Dust Storm", directed by Ryan Lacen. Her musical talents extend beyond acting, as she has written and performed songs in both "Containment" and "The Dust Storm", and is currently working on her debut musical album.
