A young girl, still grappling with the loss of her pilot father in a plane crash, travels to Newfoundland to visit her grandmother. There, she meets the restless spirits of two pilots who perished in a 1927 crash. The girl decides to help the ghosts complete their unfinished flight by rebuilding their plane, ultimately freeing them and, in the process, finding closure for her own emotional scars.
