Kristina's early life was marked by her birth and upbringing in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her academic pursuits took her to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, where she was awarded an acting scholarship. However, her freshman year at the institution proved to be a brief one, as she made the bold decision to leave college and relocate to New York City to further her acting education under the tutelage of the renowned acting teacher, Uta Hagen.
Throughout her career, Kristina has amassed an impressive array of credits in both commercials and television shows. Her notable roles include a four-season stint on the popular comedy series Reno 911!, where she originated two of her own characters, Bucky the Crippled Stripper and Principal Manderville. She also starred in the Fox reality show My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance in 2004 and more recently, she played the mother of social media personality Cameron Dallas in the 2014 film Expelled. The latter's success was a historic milestone, as it became the first made-for-the-web production to reach the number one spot on iTunes just one day after its video-on-demand release.
In addition to her acting endeavors, Kristina is also the proprietor of her own business, which specializes in social ballroom instruction. Her primary focus is on bringing dance to seniors, and she has developed a popular ballroom-inspired chair dance class that has been featured in the documentary Waltzing Through Life.
