Kuoth Wiel, a remarkable individual, was born to a Sudanese mother and a father, in Itang, Ethiopia, setting the stage for a life of cultural richness and diversity. As a young child, she and her family made the journey to the United States, ultimately settling in Minnesota, where she spent most of her formative years.
As she grew older, Kuoth's academic pursuits took her to Augsburg College in Minneapolis, where she was well on her way to earning a degree in Social Psychology. However, it was during this time that her passion for acting began to take shape, and she discovered a new calling in the world of fashion modeling.
In her senior year of college, Kuoth landed her first major film role in the highly acclaimed movie, The Good Lie, where she brought to life the character of Abital Deng, a lost and courageous young girl. This milestone marked a significant turning point in her career, and she continued to hone her craft, eventually graduating from Augsburg College with a degree in Social Psychology.
