Lara Vosburgh is an American-Israeli screen and stage actress, model, and graduate of the Atlantic Acting School. Born in Manhattan, she spent her childhood traveling between New York, San Francisco, and Tel Aviv. Her family originates from the US, Israel, Holland, Romania, Scotland, Germany, and Mexico.
Vosburgh is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Arabic, and has a diverse range of credits, including a lead role in the feature film "Inner Demons," a series regular on a 45-episode Israeli drama, a recurring role in an Israeli sitcom, and several short films and commercials.
She has also appeared in various stage productions, including "Undrown'd Seeking Assylum" at the Connelly Theatre in NYC, "Our Town," "All My Sons," and "Hotline" in Tel Aviv. In addition, she writes and appears in comedic skits, volunteers with youth at risk, and is an advocate for cultural diplomacy.
In 2016, Vosburgh produced the new full-length play "Mary V," inspired by Shakespeare's "Henry V," which premiered at the Off-Broadway playhouse Theater for the New City and received nods from Broadway World, Playbill, and The New York Times.
Vosburgh's feature film debut, "Inner Demons," premiered at the 2014 LA Film Festival and was theatrically released by IFC. Her performance received rave reviews for mastering the complex and demanding role of a sixteen-year-old girl fighting addiction.
Her first acting experience came at the age of sixteen, when she was chosen by prominent music video director Shiri Shahar for the lead role in a music video. This led to numerous offers for Vosburgh to pursue an acting and modeling career, shooting catalogs, editorials, and commercials in Israel and Europe.
Vosburgh began taking acting classes with noted Israeli Oscar-winning director and acting instructor Ram Nehari in 2010. After only three months of training, she landed a comedic recurring role on the second season of the Israeli multi-camera sitcom "Kan Garim Bek'ef" ("Happily Residing Here").
She also has a passion for comedy and musical improv, having been part of a small yet vibrant Musical Improv and Comedy-Improv community in Tel Aviv and training and performing at Magnet Theatre and the PIT in NYC.
Vosburgh has a significant dance background, with experience in hip hop, classical and modern ballet, flamenco, Bollywood, belly dancing, and tap dance, and having performed at Israel's prestigious Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater in Tel Aviv. She also has experience singing, having recorded a solo ballad as part of her role on the Israeli TV series "HAZUYA."
In recent years, Vosburgh has been actively pursuing screenwriting, graduating from Brooklyn College's prestigious Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.
