Larry Eudene has been deeply entrenched in the film industry for as long as he can remember. His grandfather and uncle co-owned Cinecom, a renowned distribution and production company that brought iconic movies like "Christmas That Almost Wasn't" to the big screen, and operated over 100 theaters. Growing up, Larry was essentially a child of cinema, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the movie business.
As a youngster, Larry began acting as soon as he learned to read, and his creative pursuits only continued to blossom. He started experimenting with photography at the tender age of seven, and by ten, he had set up his very own darkroom. Larry's poetic side emerged during his teenage years, and he began writing verse before transitioning to directing as soon as he was old enough.
Before focusing on independent films, Larry directed hundreds of commercials, earning numerous national awards in the process. He has been involved in over 50 movies to date, taking on various roles such as director, second unit director, script creative consultant, production consultant, and more.
Larry's acting career, however, took a slightly different path. He appeared in ten movies before he could admit to himself and others that, indeed, he was an actor. Many of his acting credits came about as a result of being involved in the production and the director, cinematographer, or producer simply deciding to put him in front of the camera. Interestingly, Larry has not yet landed a role through traditional auditions with a casting director, but this year, he has made a concerted effort to focus on acting and is now actively auditioning.
As an added bonus, Larry has had the pleasure of improvising with numerous well-known actors, and he is also related to the talented Tim Blake Nelson, who may ring a bell with some film enthusiasts.
