Biography

Leah Lockhart, a native of Colorado, was born into a family of creatives, with her parents, Mel Lockhart and Adrienne Clay, being an artist and musician respectively. This artistic upbringing had a profound and lasting impact on Leah, as she grew up surrounded by the vibrant world of theater, thanks to her mother's role as the box office manager at the University of Denver's esteemed Lamont School of Music. The performing arts became an integral part of Leah's life, as she actively participated in numerous stage productions through Denver University's Ensemble Experience program, led by the renowned Roberta Hamilton-Griggs.

Her impressive repertoire included notable productions such as "Oliver Twist", "Youngies Sing the Oldies", "The World According to Snoopy", and "Hello Dolly". From a young age, Leah demonstrated a natural affinity for the arts and performance, and began working closely with her father at the age of 11. During this time, she penned her first song, "Where Heaven Meets the Stars", which she performed on the Alzheimer's benefit album "We Can Make a Difference".
