Brother of renowned actress Belinda Montgomery, Lee embarked on a multifaceted career that spanned both the world of modeling and the acting profession. Prior to his breakthrough in the entertainment industry, Lee initially honed his skills as a model, laying the groundwork for his future success.
Lee's acting career commenced with a starring role in the Disney film The Million Dollar Duck, which premiered in 1971. This early foray into the world of acting was followed by a notable performance in Ben, the sequel to the 1971 film Willard. Lee's impressive transformation into more mature roles was exemplified by his appearances in films such as Mutant, alongside Wings Hauser, and The Legend of Wolf Lodge, co-starring the talented Susan Anspach.
Lee is perhaps most fondly remembered for his captivating portrayal of "Jeff Malene" in the 1985 teen comedy Girls Just Want to Have Fun, which featured a talented cast, including Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Hunt. Following a period of relative quiet, Lee redirected his focus towards music-related projects, showcasing his musical talents by composing the soundtrack for the film Legend of the Phantom Rider, released in 2002, and also known as Trigon: The Legend of Pelgidium, which debuted in 2000.
