Born on a sweltering summer day, August 12th, 2008, Leilani Marie Vasquez emerged onto the world stage, her first breaths drawing in the salty air of Long Island, New York. As the years unfolded, her innate passion for the performing arts began to take shape, ultimately leading her to the enchanting realm of musical theater.
Leilani, a talented individual with a strong passion for the performing arts, has been an integral part of The Long Island Children's Choir for an extended period of time, honing her skills and developing her craft through her participation in this esteemed organization.
In addition to her choir experience, Leilani has also sought to further refine her vocal abilities by taking private voice lessons with the renowned instructor Hazel Leon, a mentorship that has been ongoing since 2018.
Her initial foray into the world of film, courtesy of the project Abigail, served to not only introduce her to the demands and challenges of the industry, but also to fuel her ambition to pursue a career as a professional actor, a goal that she has been diligently working towards ever since.
Leilani, an accomplished actress, has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed director Jacqueline Dow, a notable finalist for the prestigious 2018 HBO acting fellowship. This talented individual has also had the opportunity to work alongside Jake Rasmussen in the short film "Climate Change is Real", a project that has garnered significant recognition and acclaim.
Leilani has made a significant impact in the world of short films, showcasing her talents in a multitude of projects. Currently, she is further honing her craft by pursuing her acting dreams at the prestigious Atlantic Theater Company Acting School Teen Conservatory.
