Leslie Black burst onto the scene with a starring role in the #1 rated show "Metro", and since then, she has been on a mission to reach new heights, never looking back. Born into an Air Force family, Black lived a nomadic childhood, moving from the Philippines to Louisiana, and this versatility has undoubtedly contributed to her ability to connect with a diverse range of audiences.
With several years of training under her belt in various skills, including method and comedic improv acting, Leslie moved to Atlanta after graduating from South Carolina State University to pursue her acting career. As a seasoned, trained actor, she possesses the unique ability to tap into each character she takes on, bringing them to life with remarkable authenticity.
Leslie has made a name for herself with guest appearances in "Chicago-Med" and "Montrose Blood Rules", and is set to star in the upcoming feature film "The Perfect Love Storm". Next year, she will take on the role of Councilwoman Priscilla Cross alongside Aaron Eckhart in "Muzzle".
In addition to her acting projects, Leslie has expanded her repertoire to include producing and writing. Last year, she produced and starred in the suspenseful short film "Mamas", and is set to do the same for "Celia's Cabin", which is slated for release in 2023. Leslie has also launched her own groundbreaking production company, Staunch Films.
