Tamil film character artiste, LIC Narasimhan, left an indelible mark on the Tamil-language film industry, featuring in an impressive 300+ films and making a notable presence on television and in advertisements. Prior to his foray into the world of cinema, he worked as an officer for the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC),but he decided to pursue a career in Kollywood, earning him the nickname LIC Narasimhan.
Throughout his illustrious career, Narasimhan had the opportunity to portray a diverse range of characters, including doctors, police officers, and judges. One of his most memorable roles was that of Superstar Rajnikanth's brother in the hit film Aarilirunthu Arubathu Varai.
Narasimhan's comedic timing and unique pronunciation of certain phrases, such as "Ninnu Kori Varnam" and "Paal Irukke Palam Irukkee," in the film Themmangu Paattukaaran, particularly in a scene with ace comedian Goundamani, became extremely popular among audiences and remains a cherished memory for many fans of Tamil cinema.
