Lisa Martinek, a talented actress, pursued her passion for acting at the Hamburg University for Music and Theatre from 1993 to 1997. Throughout her studies, she also honed her craft by performing at the esteemed Thalia Theater in Hamburg and appearing in various TV and film productions.
Following her academic tenure, Martinek became a member of the Schauspielhaus Leipzig from 1997 to 2001, subsequently engaging in collaborations with Schauspiel Frankfurt and Deutsches Theater Berlin. Her impressive performance as bike courier Lena in the movie Trial by Fire (Härtetest) earned her a nomination for the prestigious Deutscher Filmpreis, the highest German movie award, in 1998.
In addition to her cinematic endeavors, Martinek received a nod for the Deutscher Fernsehpreis (German Television Award) in the Best Lead category for her work in the made-for-TV movie Jagd auf den Flammenmann. Her notable performances include starring alongside Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz in the 2007 made-for-TV remake of Helmut Käutner's Die Zürcher Verlobung, as well as portraying the role of Juliane, previously played by Lilo Pulver in the original 50 years prior.
From 2006 to 2011, Martinek took on the role of inspector Clara Hertz alongside Charlotte Schwab in the ZDF crime series Das Duo. Today, she resides with her husband Giulio Ricciarelli and their children in both Berlin and Munich.
