Liz Vassey's journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of nine, when she started performing in over fifty musicals and plays. This early start laid the foundation for her future success, and at the age of sixteen, she made the bold move to New York to join the cast of the popular soap opera, All My Children.
For her outstanding work on the show, Liz received her first Daytime Emmy nomination, a testament to her impressive talent and dedication. Since then, she has appeared as a regular or recurring character on a staggering fourteen television shows, including ER, Maximum Bob, Necessary Roughness, Brotherly Love, Push Nevada, Two and a Half Men, FOX's live-action version of The Tick, The Tick reboot on Amazon, A Million Little Things, and most recently, NCIS: LA.
However, Liz is perhaps most well-known for her five-year stint as DNA technician "Wendy Simms" on the hit show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In addition to her work on television, Liz has also made appearances in several films and has guest-starred on numerous TV shows. Furthermore, she has co-written an episode of CSI during her last season and has since sold eight television pilots and a TV movie, developing projects for networks and studios such as NBC, Freeform, Universal, Netflix, WB, and CW.
When she's not acting, Liz is an avid runner and recently made her directorial debut with the documentary feature, The Human Race, which focuses on runners over the age of fifty. Liz shares her life with her husband, David Emmerichs, and their numerous pets, and resides in Hollywood.
