Person Biography:
Louis was born in the Italian Hospital in New York City and raised in Italian East Harlem, the largest and first Little Italy in America. He was baptized in the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the National Shrine of Italian Americans, and attended grammar school there.
