Lu Yi, a renowned Chinese actor and singer, was born on January 6, 1976. He graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1999, marking the beginning of his illustrious career.
Lu Yi's journey as an actor started when he was just five years old, when he played a role in the movie "Spring Ding-dong". Over the next 13 years, he continued to act in numerous films and TV series, averaging one to two movies per year. During this period, he also learned Peking Opera and Chinese Kung Fu, which would later become an integral part of his performances.
