Lucinda was a member of the Solid Gold troupe during its third season, and her brief stint on the show was notable enough to warrant a biography inclusion in the show's press materials. However, her time on the show was extremely short, and it's possible that many Solid Gold fans may not even be aware that she danced on the program.
Born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas, Lucinda began dancing at the age of four and went on to major in dance at Kansas State University for two years. During her time at college, she competed in the Miss Kansas pageant, where she won the talent division and finished third runner-up.
After completing her studies, Lucinda moved to Los Angeles and won a dance scholarship with the Dupree Dance Academy. She spent 10 months studying at Dupree before auditioning for the movie Grease 2 in 1982, which she ultimately won a role in as one of the film's lead dancers.
Lucinda also appeared in the movie Ninja III: The Domination in 1984, where she played a woman possessed by the evil spirit of a ninja assassin. However, it's her role as Kelly (aka Special K) in the 1984 cult film Breakin' that she is most famous for, alongside Solid Gold dancers Cooley Jackson and Leslie Cook.
Today, Lucinda lives in California with her husband, Craig Pilligian, who is the co-executive producer of the TV show "Survivor", and their two children.
