Her academic endeavors continued at the University of Guadalajara, also known as UDG, as she earned a Master's degree in theater of the body. With a strong foundation in the performing arts, Avila then made the bold decision to relocate to the United States to further hone her craft. She spent three years at the esteemed Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, where she refined her acting skills under the guidance of renowned instructors. In addition to her formal education, Avila has continued to work with multiple acting coaches in Hollywood, honing her craft and staying up-to-date with the latest industry techniques. Today, Avila has established her own acting coaching business, the Successful Actor Academy, which offers an innovative online course, the Six Steps Formula to Becoming a Working Actor, designed to empower aspiring and intermediate actors with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in the competitive world of entertainment.

Magi Avila resides in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, and is deeply appreciative of the numerous individuals she has had the privilege of working alongside throughout her illustrious career, which has spanned both the United States and Mexico.
