Marco Pancrazi is a renowned Italian stunt performer, born on October 23rd, 1983, in Tivoli, Italy, just outside of Rome. Prior to pursuing his passion for stunts, Marco studied telecommunications in high school and later earned a university degree in sport sciences from the Italian University of Sport and Movement (IUSM) in Rome in 2007.
Marco's fascination with extreme sports began at a young age, and he went on to explore various disciplines such as parkour, freerun, gymnastics, breakdancing, snowboarding, motocross, horseback riding, fencing, and many others. His on-screen career kicked off in 2004 with a role on the HBO TV series "Rome" and has since featured in numerous films alongside notable directors and actors, including Dustin Hoffman, Andy Garcia, Spike Lee, Ron Howard, Woody Allen, Penelope Cruz, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Emile Hirsch, Richard Madden, and Liam Neeson.
As his stunt career progressed, Marco began taking acting classes and securing small roles. He studied drama with Frida Bruno and Massimiliano Milesi, and later met notable acting coaches such as Ivana Chubbuck, Vincent Riotta, Michaeljohn Gonzalez, Nathan Osgood, and Antonietta Franceschi. Marco's training in the "Method" acting technique was under the guidance of Michael Margotta and Francesca Viscardi, both life members of the Actors Studio in New York City and direct students of Lee Strasberg.
In 2011, Marco made his theatre debut in "The Dumb Waiter" by Harold Pinter, directed by Vincent Riotta. He then collaborated with Alfonso Bergamo on several projects, including "La Battaglia dei Colori" and "The Labyrinth," which won four awards in the USA. Marco's subsequent roles included "The Composition" in 2012 and "Tender Eyes" in 2013, in which he played the lead role of Jonah.
In 2011, Marco relocated to London to improve his English and later moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue acting and study photography and directing at UCLA. He resided in Los Angeles until January 2016, when he returned to Italy.
Marco has continued to hone his skills through workshops in Rome and Copenhagen, focusing on security on set, wire working, aerial work, bungee technique, and air ram. He is a member of EAStunt, an Italian stunt company that provides a range of services, including stunt team, studio theatre, stunt equipment rental, and stunt/actor training.
In his free time, Marco enjoys photography and directing, showcasing his creative talents beyond his work as a stunt performer.
