Maria Kavoianni, a renowned Greek actress, was born on January 13, 1958, in Athens, Greece. Growing up in Byron, Attica, she developed a strong foundation for her future endeavors. Maria's academic pursuits were multifaceted, as she studied economics at the Athens University of Economics and Education, as well as pedagogy at the Maraslio Didaskalio.

Before embarking on a career in the performing arts, Maria worked as a teacher for many years, utilizing her pedagogical skills to educate and inspire her students. Concurrently, she pursued her passion for acting by studying at the Drama School of Karolos Koun, graduating in 1986 alongside notable actresses Kate Konstantinou and Yro Mane.
