Mark's professional journey began with a series of short films and stage productions, showcasing his versatility as an artist through his roles in esteemed plays such as "The Odd Couple" and "Glengarry Glen Ross". This early exposure laid the groundwork for his future endeavors. In 2002, Mark took the bold step of founding LWF Films in San Antonio, Texas, dedicating himself to the creation of captivating short films and music videos. As he continued to hone his craft over the years, Mark's dedication to his craft resulted in the development of a robust foundation in film work, solidifying his position as a skilled filmmaker.
Mark's remarkable journey in filmmaking was marked by a series of outstanding achievements, with his crowning moment arriving when he claimed top honors with his award-winning short films in the prestigious SA 48 Hr Film Competition.
Among his notable creations were three exceptionally successful short films, each one showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication to his craft. The first, "Saint Passions Landing", earned him the coveted 1st Place award in 2009, while his 2010 entry, "Endgame", secured a well-deserved 2nd Place finish.
Undeterred by his success, Mark continued to push the boundaries of his creativity, culminating in his 2011 masterpiece, "Love After", which earned him an impressive 1st Place award, solidifying his reputation as a master of his craft.
Mark embarked on the production process of the superhero romantic comedy NOW HIRING in the year 2012, marking the beginning of a journey that would ultimately lead to the creation of a feature film.
It was the year 2015 when the production process for the gripping military thriller ELITE, a collaborative effort between LWF Films and the creative minds of Mark and Jason Scarbrough, an accomplished actor, took its first steps towards fruition.
