Marko Zaror is a renowned Chilean martial arts action star and fight choreographer, currently residing in Los Angeles, California. His illustrious career began at a tender age, with a passion for martial arts and fighting that was nurtured by his mother, a Black belt in Karate, who took him to the gym when he was just a baby.
Inspired by the legendary Bruce Lee, Marko started training himself at the age of six and by the time he was 18, he had become an exceptional martial artist. His early years were marked by a successful stint in modeling, where he did fashion shows and eventually received a study grant in Televisa.
As his passion for acting grew, Marko transitioned to local movies, never losing his love for martial arts. He eventually decided to move to Los Angeles, where he made his mark in the Hollywood industry by serving as a stunt double for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in the movie "The Rundown", earning a World Stunt award in the process.
Marko then gained international recognition as the lead and producer of indie action cult films such as Kitro, Mirageman, Mandrill, and Redeemer, which premiered at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, and achieved international and domestic distribution.
His first American film, "Undisputed 3", saw him nominated for best villain for his performance as "Dolor", earning him worldwide fans for his physical skills and acting. Marko's big break came when Robert Rodriguez discovered him and wrote him a role in "Machete Kills", which marked the beginning of a promising career.
Since then, Marko has appeared in several performances in series and movies, including the series "From Dusk Till Dawn" as the epic character "Zolo" and the highly anticipated action saga "John Wick 4" as "Chidi", one of Wick's main pursuers.
Marko's latest film, "Fist of The Condor", had its world premiere at the 2023 Rotterdam Film Festival in Germany and has been selected for the Alamo Drafthouse Fantastic Fest Presents series.
