Biography

Martin Rutley embarked on his filmmaking journey by directing his inaugural short, "Zeroland", in the year 2008. This notable achievement marked the beginning of his professional directorial career, and "Zeroland" subsequently made its premiere at the prestigious Hull International Film Festival in the same year.

Not content to rest on his laurels, Rutley continued to hone his directorial skills by directing a second short, "Sitting Tenants", in 2008. These early shorts served as a valuable learning experience, allowing him to refine his craft and develop his unique visual storytelling style.

Fast-forward to 2010, and Rutley made his feature film debut with "Where the Dogs Divide Her". This milestone achievement earned him a coveted director's credit on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB),a testament to his growing reputation in the film industry.

The highly anticipated "Where the Dogs Divide Her" is set to be released worldwide in 2011 through US-based distribution company R-Squared Films, marking a significant step forward in Rutley's burgeoning career as a feature film director.
