Matt Lattanzi, the offspring of Jeanette Slowikowski and Charles Paul Lattanzi, emerged into the world in Portland, Oregon, a city that would serve as his childhood haven. His father, a skilled maintenance foreman with Italian roots, and his mother, a proud individual of Polish descent, lovingly nurtured him in their hometown of Portland, instilling in him the values of a close-knit community. In 1977, Lattanzi proudly donned his cap and gown, having successfully completed his high school education at Benson Polytechnic High School, marking the beginning of an illustrious journey that would take him far beyond the city's borders.
The filming of the iconic musical fantasy film Xanadu marked the beginning of a significant chapter in the life of the protagonist, as it was during this period that he had the privilege of crossing paths with the renowned singer and actress Olivia Newton-John. This chance encounter would eventually blossom into a romantic partnership, culminating in their marriage in the year 1984.
As a result of their union, the couple welcomed a beautiful daughter, Chloe Rose Lattanzi, into the world on January 17, 1986. Meanwhile, Lattanzi's acting career, which had been in full swing, began to gradually lose momentum by the early 1990s.
