Megan Elizabeth Guinan, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of Jersey City, New Jersey, and later relocated to the iconic metropolis of New York City during her teenage years. Growing up, she was surrounded by performers, with her grandmother being a professional dancer who founded a dance studio where Megan began learning the art of dance at the tender age of two. Her father, a theater director, would often take her to rehearsals, allowing her to mingle with the actors and gain a deeper understanding of the performing arts.
As she grew older, Megan pursued her passion for acting in New York City, concurrently studying English Literature at Fordham University. Her affinity for writing soon led her to craft roles that she longed to portray as an actress. One of her earliest scripts, a production about the renowned poet Edna St. Vincent Millay, was successfully staged in New York City, with Megan taking on the role of Millay herself.
