Megan's early life was a whirlwind of relocation, as her family traversed the United States, settling in various states including Nevada, Maryland, Arizona, and Colorado. Born in northern California, her time there was brief, but it was during this period that her passion for drama first emerged. By the tender age of three, Megan was already declaring her intention to become an actress, and her parents recall her insistence on wearing a pink tutu in public, a quirk that would become a hallmark of her personality.
As she grew older, Megan's fascination with classic films and their stars only intensified. She spent hours poring over TV Guide, meticulously planning her Sunday viewing schedule around AMC's vintage movie lineup. Her love for these films was matched only by her admiration for the actors who brought them to life, particularly those from the golden age of Hollywood, such as Judy Garland, Betty Grable, and Doris Day. This enthusiasm eventually led her to dedicate herself to the pursuit of her talents, spending countless hours in tap dancing and singing lessons, and even donning the mantle of a self-proclaimed "Theatre Geek" during her high school years.
After graduating, Megan made the bold decision to leave her family in Colorado behind and relocate to Southern California to chase her dreams of becoming a professional actress. She enrolled at the University of California, Irvine, where she honed her craft in acting and musical theatre, also discovering a passion for improv and sketch comedy. Within three years, she had graduated and was ready to take on the city of angels, setting her sights on a career in TV and film.
Upon arriving in LA, Megan quickly found her footing, performing at the renowned Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB),where she was a regular fixture in the musical shows, particularly Matt Besser's "The Freak Dance." This experience would eventually lead to the creation of an indie feature film. She also co-created and produced her own web series, "Hollywood Taffy," before going on to land guest starring roles on various TV shows. Today, Megan continues to thrive in the LA comedy scene, still performing at UCB and living her dream to the fullest.
