Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Mercedes has a rich cultural background, being raised between Venezuela and the United States, and possessing Spanish and American heritage.
As a model, Mercedes has been in the industry for nearly two decades, working with numerous prominent brands across Europe, the USA, and South America, including 7UP, Lee Cooper, Bebe, Nestle, Prada, and many more.
Despite her success as a model, Mercedes pursued a law degree at her family's request, before deciding to dedicate herself to acting. She trained with the renowned professor Eric Morris, who has also trained notable actors such as Johnny Depp, Jack Nicholson, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Mercedes has since appeared in various films and television shows, including Hustler's Instinct, True Love, and Disrupt/Dismantle, which premiered at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. She has also worked on several commercials and has been the image for prominent brands such as AT&T, Comcast, and Toyota.
