Born in Virginia, a young Mia left her family's home at the tender age of 14 to pursue her dreams of becoming a world-renowned ballet dancer at the prestigious School of American Ballet in New York. However, her passion for ballet was short-lived, and she soon found herself touring the globe's most glamorous hotspots as a showgirl, gracing the stages of luxurious nightclubs and casinos.
As her career progressed, Mia made the transition into acting, eventually finding her way to the bright lights of Hollywood. She has since enjoyed playing a wide range of roles on the big screen, including parts in the critically acclaimed films Intolerable Cruelty (2003),directed by the renowned Coen brothers, The Tuxedo (2002),opposite the incomparable Jackie Chan for DreamWorks, Nine Months (1995),alongside the charming Hugh Grant and directed by the talented Chris Columbus, and the hit comedy Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997).
Mia's extensive television career has also been marked by a diverse array of roles, showcasing her impressive range as an actress. She has played the object of affection for Chris Isaak, the trophy wife of a racist muffler shop owner, a lesbian golfing champion, an amateur sleuth, a mortician, and even a soap star, to name just a few.
When she's not busy bringing her characters to life on screen, Mia enjoys a number of hobbies and interests. A self-proclaimed disco enthusiast, she loves to get down to her favorite tunes. On the other hand, she's not a fan of working out, preferring to find other ways to stay active and healthy.
