Micah Lyons was born in Longview, Texas, and subsequently attended Hallsville High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. Following his graduation, Lyons received an acting scholarship, which enabled him to pursue a degree in theatre and film at Texas State University. He successfully completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to kick-start his professional acting career.
However, Lyons' professional journey did not commence after his graduation. He began booking plays, indie-films, commercials, and extra and stand-in work on network TV shows in Austin and Dallas, all while still enrolled in college. This early start proved to be a wise decision, as it allowed him to gain valuable experience and build a strong foundation in the industry.
In 2011, Lyons tied the knot with model/actress Brooke (Spurlock) Lyons, and the couple relocated to Los Angeles to further their respective careers. Once in LA, they quickly found work, landing roles in commercials and TV shows, while also establishing their own production company, Breath of Life Productions, LLC.
In addition to his acting pursuits, Lyons has also ventured into screenwriting, having penned over ten screenplays that have been produced by his company. One of his most notable projects is "BUD/S," a story about a young man who strives to become a Navy SEAL to gain the respect of his overbearing military father.
Lyons has also been blessed with two children, Elijah and Finley, born in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Furthermore, he will be starring in a feature film, titled The Runners, which he wrote and is producing. This action/thriller, set in rural east Texas, tackles the sensitive issue of domestic human trafficking and will donate a significant portion of its proceeds to non-profit organizations working to combat this issue.
