Michael Anthony Jackson, an Angeleno by birthright, embarked on a creative journey that would span multiple disciplines and yield a diverse range of artistic endeavors.
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration and Master of Arts degree in Art, Jackson leveraged his skills as an Art Director in the advertising industry, before transitioning to roles as a Visual Consultant, Storyboard Artist, and Concept Illustrator in the esteemed city of Hollywood.
Throughout his illustrious career, Jackson has had the privilege of collaborating with an impressive array of A-list directors, including Tim Burton, Taika Waititi, Ben Stiller, Mike Nichols, Ang Lee, John Schlesinger, Harold Ramis, and John Woo, on over 90 feature films.
When not indulging in his passion for abstract painting, Jackson can often be found capturing the beauty of street art through his photographic documentation, known as Reperage.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Jackson has also shared his expertise as a professor in the Film department of ArtCenter College of Design, and is a proud member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
