Michael Bland, a highly acclaimed and accomplished drummer, came into the world on March 14, 1969, and has since become most widely recognized for his profound connection with the illustrious musician Prince, commencing his tenure with the artist in 1989 and thereby becoming an integral part of the esteemed collective, The New Power Generation, during a remarkable seven-year period of collaboration.
Notably, in tandem with his work alongside the illustrious Prince, Bland, accompanied by the esteemed Sonny Thompson, embarked on a fruitful collaboration with the renowned French pop sensation France Gall, yielding a comprehensive studio album and two live albums, thereby bridging a significant period from 1995 to 1997.
In the year 2010, a collaborative effort was undertaken by Bland, which saw him partner with Nick Jonas and the Administration, a distinct musical project spawned by the talented Nick Jonas, a member of the illustrious pop-rock group, the Jonas Brothers.
