Michael Braxton's early life was shaped by his upbringing in the Southeastern region of Washington D.C., a neighborhood plagued by crime, which ultimately led him to join the United States Navy in a bid to escape the turmoil.
Subsequent to his Navy stint, Michael made the transition to the United States Coast Guard, before embarking on a career in acting, a path that would ultimately lead him to call Chicago his home.
