Michael D. Anglin, a multifaceted filmmaker and actor hailing from Pocahontas, Arkansas, embarked on his artistic journey at a tender age. His creative pursuits began with screenwriting, a passion that would eventually give way to a career in music.
As a pre-teen, Anglin discovered his affinity for composing music on the piano and drums, a talent that would see him tour the United States for nearly a decade. However, his love for filmmaking would soon rekindle, and he would go on to appear in notable productions such as Terminator Genesis, Elvis & Nixon, and Jurassic World.
This marked the beginning of a new chapter in Anglin's career, as he transitioned from being a performer to a creator. He began writing, directing, and cinematographing his own projects, driven by a desire to fully realize his artistic vision.
Throughout his journey, Anglin has had the privilege of studying under esteemed industry professionals, including Lance Nichols, Jim Gleason, and James DuMont. His dedication to the craft is unwavering, and he continues to hone his skills through relentless study and practice.
In 2017, Anglin founded his own production company, Drummer 71 Productions, and has since co-founded Tri-Legacy Films, a venture that has multiple films slated for release in the coming year.
