Mike Wilson is a renowned executive with a career spanning over two decades in newmedia development, video game production, publishing, independent filmmaking, and internet marketing. He is widely regarded as a pioneer and leading expert in development and marketing to the $65 billion computer and video game audience.
As co-founder and frontman of independent production and publishing powerhouse Devolver Digital, Wilson executive produced over 100 original successful independent game IP's, including hits such as Fall Guys, John Wick: Hex, My Friend Pedro, Hotline Miami 1 & 2, Gris, Enter the Gungeon, and the Shadow Warrior franchise.
In addition to his work in the gaming industry, Wilson has also ventured into filmmaking. He co-produced and played the lead role in the feature comedy Austin High, starring opposite global YouTube sensation Adriene Mishler of Yoga With Adriene fame.
Wilson has also been involved in various other projects, including the formation of digital video and computer game publishing company Devolver Digital with his longtime business partner Harry Miller. The company has released several successful titles, including Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter and Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter.
Prior to founding Devolver Digital, Wilson co-founded and was CEO of Gathering of Developers (GodGames),which was sold to Take Two Interactive in May 2000. Wilson's career in the game industry began in 1995, when he spent six months as Vice President of Development at IVS/DWANGO, the first nationwide online gaming service. He has since become a respected figure in the industry, known for his innovative marketing and distribution strategies.
