Biography

Michael Stevens was born in Toronto, Canada, and spent his formative years attending Toronto's prestigious ForestHill Collegiate and later pursuing a major in Fine Arts Film at York University.

After honing his skills as a writer and producer of radio dramas for campus station CKRY, Michael landed a coveted role as National News Editor for RPM Magazine, the esteemed creators of Canada's esteemed 'Juno' music awards.

Throughout the 1980s, Michael's versatility as a filmmaker shone through as he worked in various capacities, including assistant director, theme composer, SFX make-up designer, and film producer, on numerous Roger Corman-produced 'genre' features in Canada and California.

To date, Michael has appeared in an impressive 500 productions as a film performer, solidifying his status as a respected and in-demand actor. He is a proud 30-year member of the Canadian performers union 'ACTRA' and has served as a three-term member-elected Councillor from 1998 to 2004.

Since 1999, Michael has successfully transitioned to the digital realm, earning a reputation as an award-winning web designer and digital marketer. Through his company, Command Entertainment, he has promoted major studio fare through innovative websites, including the popular SneakPeek.ca, which he launched in 2001.
