Miguel Ferrer was an accomplished American actor, whose impressive career spanned numerous iconic roles in the realm of film and television. One of his most notable performances was as Morton, the iconic villain, in the 1987 sci-fi classic, RoboCop. Ferrer's versatility as an actor was further showcased in his portrayal of Shan Yu, the ruthless and cunning leader of the Huns, in the beloved animated Disney film, Mulan, released in 1998.
Ferrer's impressive resume also includes his voice work as Martian Manhunter, the powerful and wise hero, in the 2008 animated film, Justice League: The New Frontier. His talent for playing complex and intriguing characters was also evident in his portrayal of Slade Wilson, the complex and troubled anti-hero, in the 2016 animated film, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.
In addition to his work in film and television, Ferrer also lent his voice to the character of Death, the personification of mortality, in the popular animated series, Adventure Time. Furthermore, he brought the character of Sesa Refumee, a skilled warrior, to life in the critically acclaimed video game, Halo 2, released in 2004.
