Tervo's formative years in Muurola, a erstwhile rural municipality situated a mere 25 kilometers from the hub of Rovaniemi, played a significant role in shaping her future pursuits. Following her high school education in Rovaniemi, she made the courageous decision to relocate to Helsinki, driven by a passion to forge a career in the service industry, which led her to secure employment in a restaurant.
