Miriam Leone was born in the vibrant city of Catania, Sicily, to her loving parents, Gabriella Leone, a dedicated municipal employee, and Ignazio Leone, a retired teacher who had spent his career shaping young minds. Growing up, Miriam resided in Aci Catena, a charming town that held a special place in her heart, as it was the hometown of her parents.
In 2008, Miriam's life took a dramatic turn when she emerged victorious in the 69th edition of the esteemed Miss Italy beauty contest. This triumph served as a gateway to the entertainment industry, paving the way for her to explore a wide range of opportunities.
Throughout her career, Miriam has had the privilege of presenting popular television shows, such as Unomattina Estate, which has been on the air since 1992. She has also had the honor of serving as a judge for the prestigious Ciak Award and hosting the Nastro d'Argento award ceremony in 2011.
