Mirko's journey began in Bologna, Italy, where he was born. At the tender age of 16, he took his first steps into the world of entertainment by pursuing a fashion career, modeling for prominent Italian labels in Milan, Florence, and London. This stint in the fashion industry lasted for over a year, during which he traveled extensively, honing his skills and building his confidence.
However, as the years went by, Mirko's interests began to shift, and he found himself drawn to the world of hospitality. He began making appearances on television and cooking stages across Australia, gradually transitioning from modeling to entertainment. It was during this period that he discovered his passion for acting, and in 2001, he decided to enroll in a professional presenting course to improve his accent, speech, and theatrical abilities.
As he delved deeper into the world of acting, Mirko's culinary skills remained an integral part of his persona. He continued to pursue his love for cooking, making a slow transition into the world of film and television. In 2009, he landed his first major role in the large-scale production, Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, followed by lead roles in feature films, guest roles in US and Australian television series, and a notable turn as a villain in the multi-award-winning series, Wanted.
In 2015, Mirko took his talents to the next level by writing, directing, and co-producing the multi-award-winning film, ReFraction. This endeavor cemented his skills as a writer, earning him two prestigious awards.
