Born in the vibrant city of Montréal, Québec, Missy spent most of her life in Surrey, British Columbia, surrounded by her loving family, including her father, a devoted minister, her mother, and two sisters. From a young age, Missy's passion for the spotlight drove her to pursue a career in front of the camera, beginning at the tender age of 18 with modeling gigs.
As her modeling career took off, Missy's print advertisements soon transitioned into commercials for esteemed brands such as Mercedes Benz, Sprint Canada, and the Olympics. It was only a matter of time before the allure of Hollywood beckoned.
Missy's foray into television began with a guest appearance on the action-drama series Dark Angel, opposite the talented Jessica Alba, in the year 2000. She went on to secure the role of Julia on the critically acclaimed cable series The Chris Isaak Show in 2001.
