Moishe Kugelman, a talented individual with a diverse range of creative pursuits, has made a name for himself in the film industry, having worked on feature length films such as "They Dream", "Sisters", "Porter", "Delinquent", "The Matter of Ronnie Goldblatt", and many others.
In addition to his work in film, Moishe has also been involved in television, creating MOW's (made-for-television movies) and episodic content, as well as festival-winning short films. His expertise extends to co-writing feature length screenplays and providing voiceovers for both film and radio.
Moishe's background in fine arts is equally impressive, having studied at Ryerson University in Toronto and Emily Carr University in Vancouver, and having been a member of the Burstin with Broadway Choir in North Vancouver for five years.
Moishe is particularly known for his ability to bring unique characters to life on screen, often portraying professors, psychiatrists, mentors, men of religion, and a variety of antagonists. Some of his most notable characters include Dr. Moishe Kugelman, a renowned "pseudo" psychiatrist, and his twin brother Cardinal Moses Kugelman, the Head of the Vancouver Archdiocese.
Moishe is also a skilled linguist, with a daily practice of speaking Yiddish. His parents, Ethel Guttmann and Samuel Teichman, have a rich history, with his mother being the sister of Actor Edward G. Robinson. Moishe is in a long-term relationship with Lynne Spalding and has two siblings, Miriam and Joe.
Interestingly, Moishe does not celebrate his own birthday, instead choosing to give the day to his partner, Lynne, who is remarkably youthful at 139 years young.
