Monica was born and raised in the sun-kissed state of California, where she first discovered her passion for the theatre at Riverside Community College. It was there that she took to the stage for the very first time, and her journey as a performer began. Soon, she stumbled upon the renowned Stella Adler Technique, and her career in television quickly took off. Her debut film role was a significant one, as she played the assistant to the iconic Sir Anthony Hopkins in the 2007 thriller "Fracture". This early success caught the attention of Hopkins himself, who later cast her in his directorial debut, "Slipstream".
Since then, Monica has appeared in over 30 network TV shows, including recurring roles on the critically acclaimed Amazon series "Goliath" and the crime drama "Southland". Her impressive work also earned her the praise of director Chris Columbus on his pilot episode of "Applebaum". Her more recent credits include starring roles in popular shows such as "The Big Bang Theory", "MOM", "The Ranch", and "Training Day", to name just a few.
In addition to her impressive television career, Monica is also a dedicated instructor, sharing her knowledge of the Stella Adler Technique at her own theatre, Acting Artists Studio. Furthermore, she has also ventured into filmmaking, writing and directing her first feature film, "They Make It So Easy". This innovative project has been gaining recognition and winning awards at various film festivals, cementing Monica's status as a talented and versatile artist.
