Born in Longview, Texas, Montana is the youngest of three children, with two older sisters, Katelli Jordan and Jaden Jordan. His parents are Kelli Pieratt Smith, a first-grade teacher, and Tony Jordan. Montana spent most of his childhood racing dirt bikes and playing for the Ore City Rebels National team. He is an avid hunter and has a passion for Motocross racing. To prepare for his role as Jaden, Montana learned to play the acoustic guitar.
