Morgan Obenreder's early life was marked by a sense of adventure and creative expression, as she was born in Yardley, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia, and later relocated to the small town of DuBois, Pennsylvania, where she spent her formative years.
As a young girl, Morgan's passion for acting was ignited when she began performing in plays at the local Reitz community theater at the age of seven. By the time she was ten, she had already landed her first lead role, playing the part of Imogene Herdman in "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever".
Throughout her childhood and teenage years, Morgan continued to pursue her love of acting, participating in numerous plays at the Reitz theater and in school. She was particularly fond of playing the role of Eliza Doolittle in the musical "My Fair Lady".
In her tenth grade year, Morgan's life took a dramatic turn when she spent several weeks at an acting camp in Los Angeles. It was during this time that she met an agent and decided to relocate permanently to LA, furthering her pursuit of a career in the entertainment industry.
Upon settling in LA, Morgan quickly began landing guest starring roles on popular TV shows, including "Bones", "See Dad Run", and "NCIS". Her breakout role came when she was cast as the lead in the action-packed film "RZ-9 (Military State)", which earned her a Best Actress nomination from the Northeast Film Festival and introduced her to an international audience.
Morgan's subsequent roles, including playing Charisma Carpenter's daughter in the film "Bound", led to her gaining recognition stateside and landing parts in larger projects such as Christopher Guest's film "Mascots" on Netflix, the lead of the Lifetime movie "Double Mommy", and her most prominent role to date, playing Crystal Porter on the long-running soap opera "The Young and The Restless".
