Munda Razooki, born Mundhir Salim Razooki, hails from Upland, California, and is of Chaldean descent, specifically Iraqi Aramaean. Raised in the neighboring city of Chino, California, Razooki's early life laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
Upon completing his high school education, Razooki began working alongside his father, simultaneously pursuing higher education at a nearby college. It was during this time that he took his first acting class, igniting a passion that would soon become a defining aspect of his life.
Years later, Razooki made the bold decision to relocate to the heart of the entertainment industry in Hollywood. Since then, he has had the opportunity to play a diverse range of roles, embodying various ethnicities in both television and film.
Some of his notable performances include playing a New York City police officer in the CBS series Criminal Minds, a Latino character in the 2006 film Americanese, an Italian hitman in Subject: I Love You (2011),and a Russian bandit in Assassins Run (2010).
Notably, despite being of Middle Eastern descent, Razooki has primarily taken on roles that do not reflect his ethnic background. One exception is his portrayal of a character of Middle Eastern descent in the ABC hit comedy Modern Family. Additionally, he played a terrorist in the 2006 film Retaliation, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
