Nancy, born in the heartland of Iowa, was raised alongside five siblings. This Midwestern upbringing laid the foundation for her creative pursuits, which would later take her to the University of Georgia, where she earned an MFA in Directing for the Theatre. During her time at the university, Nancy had the privilege of working under the guidance of renowned theater director Zygmunt Hubner.
Nancy's impressive resume boasts a long list of credits in regional theater productions, where she has worked as both a director and actor. Her extensive experience in the industry has also led to numerous TV commercial bookings, with over 300 filmed projects under her belt. One notable series she directed was helmed by the talented Bill Persky.
On stage, Nancy has had the opportunity to play iconic roles, including Heidi in the Cleveland Playhouse's production of HEIDI CHRONICLES. She has also had the distinction of being an understudy in the Broadway production of BURN THIS, where she went on stage with the remarkable Scott Glenn.
In addition to her stage work, Nancy has had a successful career in television, appearing in a range of popular shows such as Murphy Brown, Shameless, Weeds, The Shield, Star Trek: DS9, ER, The Wonder Years, Bones, The Fosters, and Absolute Strangers, featuring Henry Winkler and Karl Malden.
Nancy has also had the chance to work on several pilots, including MARS: BASE ONE with Dan Ackroyd and ARLY HANKS MYSTERIES with Ron Perlman and Kate Jackson.
Currently residing in Los Angeles, Nancy continues to be an active and accomplished member of the entertainment industry.
